Being Here Now: Community Potluck
Sunday April 29, 6:30–8:30 pm
Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, PDX
Living Earth’s Community Potlucks are opportunities to share a great meal, get together with friends and meet new folks, and to think out loud together about conditions in our region and in the world. Our topics may range from the beauty of spring to the realities of injustice, from local politics to larger cultural concerns. Our intention is always to view each other and the world through a lens of compassion, courage, honesty, kindness, and creativity.
This is our first potluck in a couple of months, as the light lengthens and blossoms fill the trees. We’ll catch up on travels and hear what’s on Living Earth’s horizon – especially the upcoming Love in the Time of Chaos weekend in May.
We laugh, we listen, we reflect, and we connect. Living in a challenging time, our conversations sometimes confront hard realities. And we also look deeply to find what is wonderful. Within a container of respect and generous intention, we speak what is true for us in our lives here and now.
Please bring a veg or vegan potluck dish to share. Donations help us pay the rent, but all are welcome, so please join us!
