Celebrate Interdependence on

July 4 : Potluck Picnic at Mount Tabor

July 4, 5:00–7:30 pm ~ Mount Tabor East, Area B (facing Mt. Hood)

On July 4, Living Earth celebrates the interconnectedness and interdependence of all beings.  We are all one, interdependent and inseparable on this tiny blue planet we share. One Earth, One heart, One community of countless species and forms!

Join us July 4 to celebrate interdependence and connection with a great veg/vegan potluck picnic at beautiful Mount Tabor Park. Musical instruments are welcome! A perfect day to share wonderful veg/vegan foods and appreciate the countless ways in which interconnection is our true nature.

Mount Tabor Picnic Area B, facing Mount Hood! Directions are below.

Bring a veg or vegan dish to share, and your own plate and utensils, to minimize disposables.
And musical instruments are welcome – family and friends of all ages, too. And four-legged friends on leashes, too.

In this chaotic and divisive time, “our common bonds of affection” are sometimes hard to find. This easy gathering reaffirms those bonds and our interconnection with this place and this planet.

google map to Mount Tabor EastDIRECTIONS:  From SE Belmont, turn south on SE 69th for 2 blocks, to the T at Mount Tabor Drive. Turn LEFT as you enter the park (walking, riding, or driving). Within 150-200 yards, look for bright prayer flags along the railing on the left.
