Community Dharma Gathering

Sunday afternoon, May 7, 3:00 to 5:30 PM
Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, Room 12

This afternoon dharma circle is open to all and will be shaped in 2 sections. Come for whatever feels right for you. Whenever you come, please pause a moment before entering, to arrive quietly.

The form

From 3:00-4:15, we’ll settle together with dharma reflections, chanting, and simple sitting.  Then we’ll stretch and shift gears to conversation and connection.

From 4:15–5:30, we’ll share how the world (and our lives) look andHand of Buddha with rose bud and feather feel to each of us, here and now. Our chatting and interactions will hold the intentions of kindness, compassion, honesty, dignity, and friendship.

Simple nibbles will be on hand (there is no kitchen use), but if you’re inclined to bring something light, feel free.  Dana is also optional, to help with space rental.
