In many ways, the time we’re living in mirrors the shock of receiving a terminal diagnosis, or knowing a loved one is dying. A jumble of emotions —fear, denial, loss, anger, numbness, helplessness, and more —flood in unexpectedly, making it painful to find clarity or stability in the moment. But beyond that, like a death, our current era opens a wide window of possibility, a chance to recast this moment as Life calling us to open to our full humanity, wisdom, and beauty.
In this weekend, we’ll use tools of insight, creativity, courage, and love to refresh our perspective on life in a chaotic era. This time can be understood not simply as an ending, but as a vital step into a “GreatTurning” — an opportunity to transform old assumptions, systems and patterns into a wiser, more creative, open-hearted possibility for ourselves and for the future. ” The longer I am on this wonderful, challenging path to freedom from fear, the clearer it becomes that the essence of this journey is devotion, and in particular, its expression in loving and serving our fellow beings. Our true nature is Love. From one perspective we are all connected. From a deeper perspective we are all one. The Beloved can only be everything – you, me, the Sacred.” ~ RamDev Dale Borglum
