Winter Solstice Celebration

Saturday, December 20, 7:00–9:00 pm  (doors at 6:30)
An ancient conifer against a shimmering winter sky at Mount Rainier 4312 SE Stark, Portland.

Space is limited (some limited floor seating—byo cushion).

Come celebrate our planet’s celestial dance with music and reflection, participatory candlelighting, stories, and a circle dance. All are welcome.

Shall we save you a space?  All are welcome. Please register here .  This celebration benefits  our Warm Springs Community support project. $10 minimum. Your presence, participation, and generous contributions are greatly appreciated; all gifts above $10 are tax-deductible.

Kavita MacMillanKavita MacMillan and Friends will share music and bring all our voices into this space.

This year the world & our planet have entered a strange bardo, a nebulous, unsettling state between past and future. We can’t go back to what was and the path ahead is deeply uncertain. But visions of a world of greater cooperation and compassion, creativity and courage, justice and joy is germinating like the seeds resting beneath the winter snow, waiting for spring. Register now, space is limited.

Bowing to what’s gone by, we’ll turn toward the winter with strong hearts full of warmth, wonder, community, and care.
