Open Door Dharma
Heart to heart, face to face: small gatherings on Zoom
Contact us for the Open Door link.
Open Door Dharma gatherings offer simple respite, a space and time to breathe together, nurturing connection, balance, and resilience. We reflect on the words of poets, mystics, buddhas, and saints – teachings that shine light on who we are, with all our love, pain, hope, fear, confusion, sorrow, and beauty. This shared time allows us to rest with an open heart, nurturing resilience, courage, and compassion.
Living Earth has offered small weekly dharma gatherings for 12 years, drawing from the eclectic teachings of Ram Dass and other traditions and enduring spiritual lineages. We chant, sit in quiet meditation, and reflect on dharma teachings that apply to this time on Earth.

What is this path?
Many years ago, Ram Dass and countless Westerners were drawn to the Himalayan foothills of India to explore possibilities of profound awakening to deeper consciousness. For Ram Dass, that journey led him to Neem Karoli Baba, or Maharajji, and set him on the timeless path of devotion, meditation, and service. This simple path for householders continues to spread far and wide, opening hearts and deepening our daily lives.
Loving devotion, Hindu practices, Buddhist wisdom, meditations, and nondual advaita teachings intersect with Abrahamic and other world traditions, woven into the sanatana dharma tapestry. Maharajji’s path offers an uncomplicated direction toward love, service, and engaged spirituality as a way to live and remember who we really are.
All backgrounds, traditions, and curiosity are welcome to our dharma circle: Sweet voices and rusty pipes mingle, longtime practitioners, new friends, and curious folks looking for their niche, wondering what a simple, informal dharma gathering is about.
