We envision a world where kindness, creativity, and compassion nourish everyone and no one is left out.

Living Earth’s programs address the challenges of our time and enrich our sense of possibility and belonging, generating creative, compassionate responses to the world we all love.

A Community of Practice. We offer regular meditation and dharma circles, workshops, and retreats that incorporate contemplative practices and insights drawn from the world’s enduring wisdom traditions.

Compassion in Action. Our Brown Bag Project feeds folks on the streets. And every fall and winter, Winter Warming provides a rainbow of newly hand-crafted items for babies, kids, teens, adults, and elderly neighbors, to help people in our region who need a hand staying warm in winter.

Loving, Living, and Dying. These workshops and retreats provide opportunities to explore the difficult work of coming to terms with the inherent paradox of life’s beauty and its inherent instability, and the inevitability of change, trauma, loss, grief, and death.

Vital Conversations. In monthly Book Discussions and thoughtful Community Conversations, we focus on critical social issues including racism, climate change, and current cultural events.

Community Gatherings & Celebrations. Monthly book groups, monthly potlucks, seasonal hikes and picnics, a Summer Interdependence Celebration every July 4, a Harvest Gathering in fall, and a beautiful Winter Solstice Celebration round out our year.
