Open Door Dharma Circle
Second Sunday Gatherings
Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, Room 12
Sunday, August 11, 3:00–about 5:15 pm
All are welcome. Masks are welcome but required at this time.
Come by and share time in simple silence with chanting and reflection. The heart of our gatherings is the bhakti and Buddhist blend of love, kindness, community, and service that Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba and teachers of many traditions have shared.
The space is carpeted and chairs are available.
Open Door Circles follow this general contour:
3:00–4:00 Settling An hour of chanting, silent sitting, and dharma reflection, turning toward the stillness of the heart.
Stretch & Tea break Chai and small sweet & savory prasad bits are offered.
4:15–5:15 Being alive here and now For 45 minutes or an hour, we check in, chat, and see how we are holding the world—its beauty and its challenges—when so much is spinning so fast.
