Open Door Dharma : Being Here Now Conversations
Sundays Feb. 8 and Feb. 22 | 3:30–6:00 pm
Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, PDX, Room 12
All are welcome(no charge). Hybrid Sunday afternoons that open with an hour of simple chanting and quiet meditation. After a short break, we gather to reflect on how we’re doing and the unstable time we’re living in.
Our space is fully accessible and carpeted, with comfortable chairs. Bring a cushion if you prefer floor-sitting.
Open Door gatherings reflect the insight and practices shared by Ram Dass, Neem Karoli Baba, and wisdom from other dharma teachers including Joanna Macy, and a range of traditions, and lineages.
These gatherings and practices soften the heart and cultivate a sense of belonging, being present for life in this rich but challenging time.
The door is open, so come by when you can — to chant and sit, or for conversation. Or for the whole afternoon.

All are welcome to Open Door Gatherings. There’s no charge. A donation jar is on the table by the tea, if you’d like to help with our rent for the room.
Dana is always voluntary, not required, in a traditional expression of appreciation. Giving in support of these circles helps keep the dharma wheel turning. You can support us by giving now online or with cash or a check in the jar.
