Open Door Dharma Circles
Sundays August 10 & 31, 4:00–6:00 pm
The Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, Room 12
All are welcome.
Join us for meditation, chanting, and reflection, followed by prasad and and conversation. The Meeting House is fully accessible. The room is carpeted and has comfortable chairs. Please bring a cushion if you prefer floor-sitting.
At 4:00 pm we settle quietly. Simple chanting and stillness in the bhakti and Buddhist traditions soften our hearts and minds. The path shared by Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba, includes the wisdom of many teachers, cultures, and lineages. Our practice includes spacious awareness, chanting, and silence.
At 5:00 pm, a slight break for prasad shifts us into conversation on how these practices apply in a stressful time of global change.
Open Door Dharma Circles provide space to explore wisdom footprints left across time and cultures. They support resilience as we navigate being here now with open hearts and love for our beautiful planet home.
The door is open, come by when you can, whether to chant and sit, or for dharma dialogue, community, and conversation. Questions? Please contact us!
Open Door Dharma Gatherings
are freely offered and all are welcome.
If you’d like to offer dana, a jar is near the door and we welcome your generosity. Dana is an expression of appreciation, and it keeps the dharma wheel turning.
Whether dropping cash or a check in the jar or giving online, thank you! Your support is much appreciated to keep dharma circles and related programs going.
